Rock Creek: A Premier & Protected Wilderness Recreation Area
Rock Creek, a Blue Ribbon fishing stream, carves its way out of the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness through the wide ranching valleys of the upper drainage and down through a narrow canyon until it joins the Clark Fork River, East of Missoula, Montana. Sky Ranch sits above this confluence with access to Rock Creek and the Clark Fork River. Surrounded by Lolo National Forest, Sky Ranch is home to Elk, Black Bear, Whitetail Deer, Bobcat, and Fox. Seasonal migrations bring Canadian Geese, Eagles, Osprey, Hawks, Blue Heron, Bluebirds and the Western Tanager.
Easily accessible from Interstate 90, Sky Ranch is 24 miles from Missoula and 28 miles from Missoula International Airport. We are midway between Glacier and Yellowstone National Park, a hundred miles from the Butte Historical area and Helena, the State Capital. Car Service is available from the Missoula International Airport and the Downtown area.
